Porthos Tips for Women
Ladies, be glad that you’re not a man.  You have a natural, inner source of beauty that every person notices, yet few men fully understand.  Shopping is allowed to be fun.  Fabrics are allowed to be soft, silky, and comforting.  No one will judge you harshly if you get weepy at a wedding, or during the latest tear-jerker at the cinéplex.  Tomboys -- looking to make a great new impression?  Define your style, but never define your sense of joy.

And Porthos thinks shopping is fun too.

Style Tips

Smile!

A smile shows the character of your face, and the winning personality that is behind it.  But, don’t be fooled into thinking that a drop-dead gorgeous smile comes naturally to everyone.  Celebrities and politicians have practiced in the mirror for countless hours to achieve that perfectly toothy grin.  Don’t feel the need to get it ‘perfect.’  Your smile is a reflection of your personality and who you are.  That’s what should really shine through in the end.

Baggy sweat pants might be comfy,

but wearing them outside of the house can give others the impression that this frumpiness extends to your personal and professional life.  Avoid at all costs.  After all, a slightly-more-relaxed-than-normal pair of blue jeans can be just as comfortable, but won’t make you guilty of a fatal foible: character assassination.

Two step? Do the three step instead.

The two step is what guys who can’t dance do while out on the town.  Cleanse, tone, moisturize.  While most men don’t properly care for their skin, it’s surprising how many women also neglect the health of their epidermis.  Let’s face it, makeup is tough on your skin.  Counteract the damage by always washing makeup off at the end of the day or night, and by using a three step regimen in the morning (or evening, if you prefer).  Also, treat your skin right by exfoliating regularly.  Paul might not use any such products designed for women, but he’s heard great things about Shiseido’s line of skincare -- and seen the stunning results.  As always, if you have a skin condition, consult your medical professional before settling on any one product or treatment.
